The gap I spotted
GST numbers were typed in and never checked, so wrong ones slipped through. I added a check at the moment they are entered.
The problem
Can a GST number be checked as it is entered, instead of trusting what was typed?
Company GST details on forms were typed by hand and never checked.
The system
- A Verify GST button that checks the number through a GST API and fills in the registered business name and other details.
- Leads that already have a GST number are verified automatically.
Impact
Wrong GST numbers are caught when they are entered, and business details no longer have to be typed by hand.
AHA Smart Homes screens on this site are recreated with dummy data.
