The problem
Can a manager see support performance by period, device, engineer and customer at a glance, instead of reading tickets one by one?
The support team wanted to see how many tickets were raised, how many were solved and how long each took, instead of reading tickets one by one.
The system
- Date, device, project manager and ticket-type filters; repeat clients; tickets by engineer and type.
- Per-device open/solved counts, resolution trend and median resolution time, with drill-down pop-ups.
- A visit-fee panel (collected, pending, expected) and a branded PDF report of the current filters.
Engineering decisions
- “Within one month of handover” as its own category
- Early problems after a project is handed over are tracked apart from regular support and installation.
- The PDF report follows the filters on screen
- Managers export exactly what they are looking at, ready for a review meeting.
Impact
One view of support performance, exportable for management reviews.
AHA Smart Homes screens on this site are recreated with dummy data.
